Originally conceived as an homage to our mother organization. Just when it was getting too schmaltzy in conception and content, I had a conversation with one of our sisters about the joys of the new system we are awaiting. She said "and it’s happening all around is, right now!", referring to our brotherhood. Thanks, Nancy!

My wife bought me an acoustic guitar as a gift around the early 1990’s, after I had virtually abandoned any musical aspirations I might have had. I thought I had better do something with it. So I started writing songs for my kids. Our young ones need all the help they can get in combating this world’s influences.

Conceived upon awakening one morning during a visit with friends in Virginia. My first reggae tune.

It may be obvious from this song that I was not raised in the truth. I’ve always felt that those who are raised in the truth have a huge advantage over the rest of us, but don’t always realize it. Can they ever know the emptiness of not having any hope whatever?

The CD liner notes explain this one. I stared at the picture hanging in Susanne’s hospital room for quite a while, memorizing everything about it. Now it hangs in our hallway beside a picture of Susanne. I think when she’s resurrected, she’ll just sort of say "hello," while we’re all going to be beside ourselves with ecstasy. After all, she’s only sleeping, while we’re waiting.

Lounging in my backyard, sipping a cool glass of iced tea on a beautiful summer day, it occurs to me that, no matter what I have in the system, it’s only temporary; we’re all merely alien residents - the real life is yet to be.

Mostly written while waiting for a ferry to Prince Edward Island for territory seldom worked. Even people who say they have no faith have to have SOME. Why not accept that fact and move on to bigger realities?

For every resurrection in the new world, there will be a unique story to tell. This is just one possibility.

Originally conceived many moons ago as a Neil Youngish song with only a sketch of a lyrical idea. After learning the truth, I rewrote the lyrics to center around Jeremiah 20:9.

Ever have a toddler show you something that he or she is totally amazed with, like a rock or something equally mundane? As if he or she is the first one to ever experience this thing, and you’ve never seen it before! Ah, to be half way to two. OK, it’s not a directly theocratic subject, but if it fits...
